Meet Our Team
Wendy

Wendy

Receptionist

Wendy has been with our practice since early 2015. However, she isn’t a stranger to the dental field. After starting out as a dental assistant in 1986, she found her calling to work in the front office. Over the years she has worked all aspects of the administrative side to dentistry. Wendy will usually be the one to greet you and is enjoying getting to know everyone. She feels blessed to work with such dedicated and compassionate people. She enjoys time with friends and family, her three cats, crafting and reading.

Holly

Holly

Treatment Coordinator

Holly joined our practice in 2013 after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from Oregon State University. She has enjoyed expanding her dental knowledge, as well as getting to know our wonderful patients. Holly is grateful to work with such a fantastic staff who exhibit excellence and integrity every day. When not thinking about teeth and dental insurance, Holly loves spending time with her family and friends, especially if that includes a nice cup of coffee. She also enjoys yoga, walks, and getting lost in a good book.

Rose

Rose

Financial Services

Rose enjoys working for dentists who are not only excellent in their field, but who also truly care about their patients’ health. Rose graduated with a B.A. in Human Services from the University of Oregon in 1992. After taking time off to stay at home to raise and homeschool her four children, she started bookkeeping in 2010. She has experience bookkeeping for three (and now four) different companies and multiple clients. She has been married for over 25 years and enjoys art, language, and movies.

Paige

Paige

Patient Reception

Paige Dozier has recently joined our team to help with the added procedures implemented in our office due to COVID. Most likely, Paige will be the one to greet you and get you seated, after taking your temperature and getting you your mouthwash. If you notice a slight southern drawl, it’s because she was born in Arkansas and raised in Tennessee. Oregon has been her home now for 16 years. She and her husband have three grown children. Paige enjoys staying active, the outdoors, and time with her family.

Rachel

Rachel

Assistant

Rachel has been with the practice since 1991 and has been a chairside assistant to Dr. Lawrence for this time. She feels very fortunate to have had the opportunity to assist one doctor for so long and develop great relationships with the patients. Her mission is threefold: serve patients, be available, and keep the doctor on time! Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Brett, their two sons, Cody and Gunnar, knitting, and working on never-ending home improvement projects.

Vickie

Vickie

Assistant

Vickie joined our practice in 2019. She began dental assisting in 1999 but took a few years off to work with a hospice agency and then a cataract surgery clinic. She is grateful to have the opportunity to work alongside this unique team of professionals who make patient comfort and quality care a top priority. Vickie enjoys caring for our patients, helping them feel at ease with their dental procedures. In her spare time, she likes to go for walks and bike rides; garden with her hydroponic tower garden; shop with her daughters; and make healthy meals. She also enjoys time with her grand-dog, Buck.

Shelly

Shelly

Assistant

Shelly is one of our newest dental assistants. After staying home with her children for 12 years, she decided to go back to school to learn something new and exciting. She graduated in 2010 and immediately started in our office at that time. She loves learning new techniques and is excited about meeting all of our patients and helping them with their dental needs. We love her constant happy personality, as do our patients. When not working, Shelly enjoys being home with her husband, two sons, a dog, a cat, and four chickens.

Shideh

Shideh

Assistant

Shideh received her dental assisting certificate in 1991 right after she moved here from Tehran, Iran. Working with Dr. Scheffel at OHSU was her first job as a dental assistant. While working full time she pursued her dream job and received her Masters Degree in teaching. After 22 years of working part time at the dental school and part time with us, she is happy that she chose to stay in the health care industry. She is inspired by people who help others for a living. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, practicing yoga, and enjoys cooking for family and friends.

She loves spending time with her family and dog (Lillie) at the beach, mountains, or just in her own backyard.

Her strong clinical background, thoroughness, gentleness, and great people skills make her such an asset to our practice. She and her husband are native Oregonians and enjoy being involved at their church. They have three kids who are active in sports.
